A landscape project in which I redesigned an outdoor space next to my house. For this space to serve as an intentional extension of our house, I combined New Mexico stylistic qualities as an ode to my family’s love of the region, with the mid-century modern style of our house. My design achieved this cumulation of styles by incorporating colors and specific plants to reference New Mexico’s landscape and culture along with the geometric, modern qualities of the stone pavers and rain chain.
